There are many things that The Lord of the Rings franchise is known to have done perfectly. You could associate The Lord of the Rings with stunning landscapes, incredible costumes or even really delicious food. But if there’s one thing the Lord of the Rings brought us is a whole lot of epic music. Of course, we’re talking in part about Howard Shore’s iconic scores for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies. But we’re also thinking of all the music this incredible series has inspired across pop culture. To celebrate this musical heritage, as well as the next The Lord of the Rings series, power rings, nerdist gathered some of our favorites the Lord of the Rings music and created what you might call the One Playlist of Power. It’s our way of getting you hype for #NerdistTolkienWeek, which runs from August 29 to September 2 to celebrate power ringsthe exit.

In the meantime, other songs may be new to you. We couldn’t recommend better listening to “The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins”, performed by Leonard Nimoy. Not only does this song give us corny nirvana, it will get stuck in your head.
