Las Vegas Advisor: Some Las Vegas shows take a break for the holidays
In December, many shows in Las Vegas go “dark” to allow cast members to take vacations. Last year they were all dark, but this year the shows are back.
If you’re visiting between now and the New Years and are keen to see a particular show, be sure to check that there will be performances during your dates.
The dark days of the main productions are listed below; most are dark on New Years Eve.

Adele: Rumor has it more, it was announced that Adele will be joining the list of superstars playing the Strip. The “Weekends with Adele” residency will begin on January 21 at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Adele will perform two shows each weekend until April 15.
Holiday Noc: For the 18th consecutive year, Ellis Island is serving its homemade eggnog (contains alcohol). Buy it at the bar for $ 7 a glass and $ 35 a bottle.
Question: Is it still possible to have rooms for New Years Eve?
Responnse: Yes. In a control of 97 casino hotels at the end of last month, 69 had rooms available. The cheapest room for New Years Eve was at the Lucky Club in North Las Vegas for $ 150. Others at the lower end of the price were OYO for $ 300, Silver Sevens and South Point for $ 319 each, and two-night packages to Westgate for $ 478 and the Plaza for $ 554. The most expensive was a two night package at Nobu for $ 2,685.
